Your customers and merchants, already in your phone
See You Soon lists your customers and suppliers from the contact groups you choose on your iPhone. Each customer shows their last job and their next one. Each supplier has Navigate, Call and Message. People you add in the app are saved to your Contacts. It needs contacts access and a contact group chosen.
My customers
Mrs Patel
London N4
- Last job
- 2 Oct
- Next job
- 14 Oct
How it works
Choose your groups. Pick the contact groups that hold your customers and your suppliers, in setup or in Settings. A group with "customer" or "client" in its name is used without asking, and so is one with "supplier" or "merchant".
See each customer's diary. Each row shows their last job and next job, read from your calendar and matched by name.
Ring, text or drive. A customer's screen has their numbers, their address, and Navigate, Call and Message. So does a supplier's.
Add people where you are. Add a customer while booking a job, or with "+" on either tab. They are saved to your Contacts.
The facts
| Last job and next job | Read from the last 90 days and the next 30, matched by the customer's name |
|---|---|
| A to Z index | Appears at 12 or more names |
| Groups used without asking | "customer" or "client" for customers, "supplier" or "merchant" for suppliers |
| New contact | Needs a name or a company. A phone number needs at least 6 digits |
| A supplier with several addresses | Navigate uses the first |
| Message on a customer or supplier | Opens a blank text |
What it needs
- Contacts access.
- A contact group chosen for customers, and one for suppliers.
- Calendar access, for each customer's last and next job.
What it doesn't do
- It deletes no contact.
- It shows no history beyond 90 days back and 30 days forward.
- A job counts for every contact with that name.
Questions
Do I have to type my customers in again?
No. The Customers tab reads the contact group you choose on your iPhone. A group with "customer" or "client" in its name is picked up without you choosing it.
How does it match jobs to customers?
By name. It reads the last 90 days and the next 30 of your calendar, and matches each job's customer name to the contact.
Can I add a customer while booking a job?
Yes. On the "Who" step, type the name and number and tick "Save to my contacts". It needs contacts access.
Will it change my contacts?
It adds people you create in the app, and an address you choose to save onto a customer, after asking. It deletes no contact.
